The CICLA is one of the longest-running literary prizes in China. Its origins lay in the heritage of the Shanghainese children’s writer, translator and educator Chen Bochui (1906-1997).

The Chen Bochui Author of the Year and Special Contribution awards have been created to give recognition to key figures of the children’s book arena, whose contributions have made books and reading more engaging for young readers.

AELFIE Featured in NY Magazine

Design editor, Wendy Goodman takes a tour inside Aelfie's light-drenched loft in a converted industrial building in Williamsburg,

With a worldly mix of color punches and zero dull moments, her eclectic décor includes a Verner Panton love seat mixed in with a beaded Nigerian throne that she carted home from Harlem, on her back, when she was seven months pregnant.
