The CURRENT Company to Represent Grant Snider for Licensing

The CURRENT Company is excited to announce that we will be representing best-selling author and illustrator, Grant Snider in partnership with his literary agent, to license Grant's images on merchandise. Grant's comics on reading and writing, and the creative process appear frequently in the NY Times Book Review, The New Yorker, The Kansas City Star. His webcomic, Incidental Comics, has a worldwide audience. His most recent comics collection, I Will Judge You By Your Bookshelf (Abrams ComicArts) received a Good Reads Choice Awards - Best Book of 2020.

We will be licensing his witty, thought provoking comics for use on a range of products his fans are sure to love. Categories available for licensing range from gift products and stationery and paper products to apparel and personal accessories. We are all Made of Light was published by Gallery 16 in 2016 and covers the life and career of acclaimed designer and artist Rex Ray. Ray established a distinct abstract vocabulary, drawing inspiration from the Arts and Crafts Movement, organic and hard edge abstraction, as well as pattern and textile design.

This comprehensive volume features more than 100 of his works on canvas, wood, and paper—including never-before-seen pieces courtesy of the Rex Ray estate. His playful painted-paper-collages and organic, abstract forms have earned him comparisons to artists like Paul Klee and Henri Matisse.
